We have to keep going, we can’t let off. You’re going to be in difficulty if you don’t keep clean sheets.

I do have options in personnel.

McShane and Ilori are around, and Gunter.

Jonathan Low

Clement

Not having Bodvarsson is not ideal.

Our issue is not on the defensive side.

We’re not doing enough defensively.

We have to tighten up.

We’re back in training on Tuesday.

Repetition is key and what’s going to get us out of this.

If we had won we might have gone 18th and gone back to back wins.

There would have been a good feeling but on reflection it’s neutral.

In terms of playing we didn’t make a step forward.

Jonathan Low

Clement

I didn’t expect anything else from Ipswich.

The fact they’re bottom does not mean anything.

I’d prefer to play teams higher up in the league.

Everyone gets affected when people say it’s an easy game.

Jonathan Low

Clement

It was a strange feeling in the first half.

I could have made five or six changes at HT.

I did a system change so we went 4-4-2. In the end it was almost kitchen sink stuff.

Meite was determined to play and he did really well.

He scored two good goals.

A point was a fair result.

First half we were bad. I was worried esp with the context of the season.

It looked like only one team was in the relegation zone.

We were unfortunate to be only 2-1 down.

I find it difficult to explain how it was. I said it was going to be a hard game.

Perhaps it was the sub conscious level.

Second half the players reacted well. The spirit was better. And we finished stronger.

Jonathan Low

Lambert

The level of performance has been fantastic from the players since I’ve come in.

I can only see what I’ve seen since I came in.

Play my way and we’ll be totally fine. They’ll make mistakes but I understand that.

Jonathan Low

Paul Lambert

That’s as good a first half I’ve ever seen from one of my teams.

The strides we’ve made as a team have been huge.

I’m very proud of my team.

We looked dangerous in the second half on the counter attack but Reading didn’t have too many threatening moments.

Overall I can’t ask for much more from my players.

Jonathan Low

Still waiting

Hopefully it won’t be too long until the managers arrive.

Both Clement and Lambert are yet to come up so they must be saying plenty of stuff to their players..
