Liverpool fans spot worrying thing Mohamed Salah did after scoring vs Bournemouth

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool in their Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

The Egyptian forward responded fastest to a rebounded shot, slotting the ball past Asmir Begovic in goal for the Cherries.

Salah immediately looked towards the linesman to see if the flag had been raised, before looking straight ahead when he saw that it hadn’t.

The former Roma man then turned around to face his Reds team-mates, who surrounded him and celebrated his goal with him.

They all looked delighted with the marksman for getting on the scoresheet.

But it seems some Liverpool fans were a little bit worried that Salah didn’t look particularly happy and didn’t celebrate the goal.

Many have suggested it was because he though the effort was offside.

Others are a little miffed.

On Twitter, one fan wrote: I’m happy that Salah scored. But, did you guys see Salah’s face?”

Another added: “Salah’s face made me think it was given offside. What was he snarling at?… oh and by the way… YESS!!! GET IN!!!

A third wrote: “Salah didn’t celebrate that. He knew it was offside I think.”

And a fourth concluded: “Wonder why Mo Salah didn’t celebrate the goal.”
