Had very little to do in the first half apart from take a couple of crosses to his near post. One stunning pass the length of the pitch to find Johnson, though.
Couldn’t do anything about the Chelsea goals, having made a decent save to deny Luke McCormick earlier. 6
Good energy up and down the pitch, but for the second goal he got caught out of position with a long switch and the Blues capitalised on it. A decent evening from the youngster, though. 6
Up against Charlie Brown and at times did well in the aerial battle. You thought that if Chelsea were going to get in the game then it might come down his side, though.
However, he was a lot more solid in the second half and did well defensively for much of the game. 6
Solid with Oxford and gave Martell Taylor-Crossdale nothing to work with in the first half. Got away with a penalty shout, though, when he appeared to take down Brown.
It was a few moments of madness from the West Ham defence, who didn’t get close to their men at all for both goals. 5
A really solid first half as he looks above this level in all reality. His goal was a superb header as he just wanted it more and leapt above the whole Chelsea defence to nod home.
Still commanding at the back, but lost his man for the second goal, allowing Redan to nod home. 7
A really bright first half in the middle of the park, linking the front line well and having a couple of efforts from the edge of the box.
Quieter in the second half, though, as Chelsea got more into the game, but he continued to look to get forward and cause problems. 6
Pretty quiet on the right as an attacking threat. Struggled to get on the ball as much with the chances coming through more of the central of midfield.
A couple of nice runs in the second half to try to spread the play, but didn’t offer a great deal. 5
Commanding in the first half as his presence allowed Coventry to get forward and support the front men while he held the middle.
However, part of the issue when Chelsea got back into the game with the spaces between defence and midfield too large and Chelsea could exploit it. 6
Jahmal Hector Ingram
A really powerful force, especially in the second half, as he gave the Blues a torrid time at the back with his direct running and hold-up play.
Did superbly for the penalty as well he dominated the run over the defender to win the spot-kick. 8
Had a decent chance that he missed, despite claims the Chelsea keeper made a save. Lovely free-kick for the opening goal to find Oxford.
Nice play when he found space behind the front man and some lovely little balls through. Nice penalty as well. 7
Not in the game too much going forward, but did a good defence duty in the first half.
However, in the second he struggled to make any impact on the game on both sides of the ball. 5
Bernardo Rosa (on for Ingram 80′)
Didn’t really influence the game going forward. 5
Jeremy Ngakia (on for Kemp 83)
Couldn’t really make an impact. 5
Mason Bennett (on for Johnson 90′)
Not enough time to make an impact. 5
